FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS; Wire Harness Processing

Welcome to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ page). Below, we have tried to

answer the most common questions you may have. If you find that your question is

not answered on this page, please email us

or call us

at 877-7AERO-US.

What is the cost to re-manufacture a harness?

The goal is 35% to 55% of the cost of a new harness. This is dependent

upon the extent of the damage.

What is the turnaround time for a re-manufactured harness?

Our average turnaround time is 3 to 5 days. However, certain harnesses pose a

greater level of difficulty. This is due to components that are no longer in production

or perhaps on back order.

Is there a warranty?

Yes, we warranty all re-processed wire harness assemblies for 1 year or 12,000 miles.

Some of the areas covered under our warranty are: corrosion, circuit misalignment,

pin retention and connector defects.

What is your return policy?

We warranty all manufacturing defects. If you experience a problem we will replace it

with another harness assembly at no charge. A tracking number is assigned to the

harness assembly after processing. This number must be intact and secured to the

harness when shipped for return.

Do you re-manufacture all makes and models?

No, we handle approximately 90% of the domestic manufactures, 80% of the Asian

imports and about 70% of the European models.

Who handles the engineering responsibilities?

We use two electrical engineers and one intern to evaluate our process. They also

provide technical support in areas such as electrical circuit repair criteria, updating

standards and briefings on the latest technological developments in the electrical

arena.

Do you maintain an inventory of harnesses?

Yes we do. They are generic in nature. By this we mean certain circuits may not be

installed on our harness assembly. For example, the exchange harness may have a

fog light circuit. We would add this system to the harness we have in inventory.
